Good afternoon, it’s Andrea here, and today, my group members and I (Ashleigh and Valerid) began to work on our storyboards for our commercial. We immediately knew upon beginning that we did not want to do a commercial on Fort Lauderdale High, so we decided to do a product. Our product is funny and different, so we instantly fell in love. Our product is based on an idea derived from one of our favorite shows from our childhood, The Suite Life On Deck. This product is a perfume called ‘Smarticle Particles’ in which it instantly makes anyone who uses it as a scholar and smarter. The commercial is meant to be comical, sarcastic, and different, which is hopefully what we achieve once the commercial is finished.

 

Hi, my name is Andrea Casco and I am a senior at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am making this blog to track my progress over the course of this school year in regards to the AICE Media Studies course. While I am in the Pre-Law and Public Affairs program here at Fort Lauderdale High, I am aiming to obtain my AICE Diploma, therefore forcing me to take many of the rigorous AICE classes my school has to offer. In specific, I chose AICE Media Studies because I have always been interested in cinematography and it seemed more interactive than other courses I was offered. Over the course of this school year, I hope to gain more insight into the many subject areas of Media Studies (e.g. Mise-en-scéne, editing, etc.) and aim to get an A on the AICE Media Studies final Cambridge exam.
